NEW RELEASE: Crafty Meraki - Laurel Leaf, Olive Leaf & Dad Shadow Word

Hello everyone! This blog accompanies a wonderful videohop that is going on (go to my Youtube Channel and follow the instruction to participate in a wonderful give away!), celebrating the #Merakiversary! For this card, I am using two newly released leaf dies called Laurel Leaf and Olive Leaf in combination with older but beautiful products from Crafty Meraki to create 2 Father's Day cards!

For both cards, I started by die cutting a background panel using the Parisienne Meraki Para-Dies from Crafty Meraki. Next, I die cut a circle out of this panel. And all of the sudden, I got two ideas instead of one... 


For the first idea, I used the Parisienne panel. I die cut the Laurel Leaf from Crafty Meraki out several colors of card stock. After placing a piece of acetate behind the window, I added the leaves in a little bow around the window. 


For the second idea, I used the die cut circle. I die cut the Olive Leaf from Crafty Meraki out several colors of card stock and vellum. I adhered them in front and on the back of the circle. 


To make both ideas into Father's Day cards, I used the Dad Shadow Word from Crafty Meraki. I added several layers on top of each other. After adding one version on each of the ideas, I finished the cards by adding them on top of some card bases. I hope you like them xxx
