Hello everyone, I am convinced that I am not the only one lacking Christmas cards close to the 25th of December. Therefor, I wanted to share this quick and simple idea for Christmas cards. You can change color, stamps, ... anything you need. But this idea will work for you as well. I hope that this might help you!
You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
I started with the backgrounds. Therefor I die cut 3 A2 sized panels. With the Circle Extraordinaire Stencil from MFT and distress inks, I created 3 colorful backgrounds (combinations are listed below).
Next, I stamped out several different snowmen and speech bubbles from the Frosty Friends from Hello Bluebird and colored the snowmen using several copic markers (listed below). Afterwards, I used the matching dies to cut them out.
- Snowman: B000 / YR09, YR04
- Red: R39, R46, R17
- Green: YG17, YG03, YG00
- Blue: BG49, BG34, BG11
- Yellow: Y38, Y19, Y08
- Brown: E47, E57, E33
Once I added a snowman and speech bubble to each of the background, I added snowflakes (white heat embossed using Frosty Littles from Hello Bluebird and a white gelly roll pen). After adhering the panels on top of card bases, I finished them off using glossy accents/stickles. I hope you like them!
