Hello everyone, can I just say... WAUW! I still cannot believe that I made a card like this one, but I am stoked! So I hope you don't mind my enthusiasm, but I am glad you are here! Let me tell you how to create this card/ something similar.
You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
I started by coloring the images from City Walks from Hello Bluebird using my Copic Markers (combination listed below). Afterwards, I used the matching dies to cut them out.
- Cat: E33, E53, E51 / E13
- Bear: E59, E57, E33, E53 / E53, E51
- Reindeer: E59, E57, E33, / E33, E53, E51 / E13
- Glow: Y00
- Red: R39, R37, R24
- Blue: BG49, BG23, BG11
- Lamp: W8, W6, W5, W3
For the background, I ink blended (with distress inks) a night sky around a light source (based on placement of the lantern) and for the grounding I used the Drifts & Hills Stencil from MFT. For the sentiment, I used the Big Christmas Greetings from Hello Bluebird.
With all the elements ready, I assembled everything on top of a card base. Next, I added 'snow' using white gouache and finished it off using some stickles. I hope you like it! xxx
