CHRISTMAS CARD: Mama Elephant - The Nutcracker

Hello, welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a Christmas card featuring The Nutcracker stamp set from Mama Elephant. It had been a while since I purchased some Mama Elephant products but I couldn't let this one slip! I also purchased some other Mama Elephant products, we'll see when I get to feature them.

I started by stamping and coloring the images from The Nutcracker from Mama Elephant Cup (combination listed below). Afterwards, I die cut all of the elements using the matching dies, I also embellished the critters using a white gelly roll pen. 

  • Skin: E13, E11, E00
  • Hair #1: E0000
  • Hair #2: E33, E51
  • Hair #3: W2, W0
  • Hair #4: E47, E57
  • Mouse: E43, E42, E40
  • Yellow: YR04, Y19, Y08
  • Orange: R05, YR16, YR12
  • Pink: RV25 / RV13, RV21, RV10
  • Purple: V09, V15, V12, V000 
  • Blue: BG72, BG23, BG11
  • Green: YG95, YG03, YG00
  • Wings: B000

For the background, I die cut an A2 sized panel. I softy ink blended some cracked pistachio on top and added a sentiment. To give it something extra, I took the Starry Sky Stencil from Lawn Fawn and added some glimmer paste. To finish my card, I added everything together on top of a card base. I hope you like it xxx
