HELLO BLUEBIRD CHALLENGE: CHRISTMAS CARD: Hello Bluebird - City Sidewalks

Hello everyone, ready for some more Christmas inspiration? Today's card was made using some Hello Bluebird products and is also my entry for the current  #hellobluebirdholidaychallenge. Some older, some newer products... I promise, it was a lot of fun creating it!

You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.

I started by coloring several images from the City Sidewalks stamp set from Hello Bluebird using my copic markers (combinations listed below). Next, I used the matching dies to cut all of them out.

  • Red: R37, R35, R24
  • Blue: BG49, BG15, BG10
  • Taxi: Y38, Y19, Y15, Y13 / W5, W3, W2 / W7, W5 / Y13
  • Bear: E47, E57, E33 / E53, E51 / E13
  • Deer: E57, E33, E53 / E53, E51 / E13, E11
  • Cat: E53, E51, E50

For the background, I took the largest Nesting Deckle Mini Slimline Die from Hello Bluebird. After creating my mini slimline panel, I used distress inks along with the Drifts & Hills Stencil from MFT to create a blue background.

After adding all the images to the card, I used some white gouache to create snow. For the sentiment, I used the Joyful Greetings from Mama Elephant and added it on the panel. Before adhering the panel on top of a mini slimline card base, I first added a piece of sea glass card stock on top of the card base for an extra pop of color. I hope you like how this card turned out xxx
