BIRTHDAY CARD: SugarPea Designs - Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone, I am back with my final card as a guest for SugarPea Designs. I had so much fun playing with all the SugarPea Designs products! I decided to finish my journey as this month's guest by creating a rainbow card. Cause who doesn't get happy seeing a rainbow?!

You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.

I started by die cutting a crazy amount of candles using the Birthday Candles SugarCut from SugarPea Designs (only needed 8 candles). Next, I took several distress inks (2tones for each color; listed below) and started adding color to each of the candles and flames.

  • Red: Aged Mahogany, Festive Berries
  • Orange: Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold
  • Yellow: Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade
  • Green: Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron
  • Blue/Green: Evergreen Bough, Cracked Pistachio
  • Blue: Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers
  • Purple: Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves
  • Pink: Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar
  • Flames: Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade

To create this card, I cut out two panels using the Card Front Element Builder II from SugarPea Designs. One of them, I trimmed down on an angle (a bit random). Next, I added the sentiment from the Birthday Wishes stamp set on the trimmed panel.

With all the elements ready to go, I added everything together on a card base. I finished the card by adding some glossy accents on all the flames. I hope you like the idea xxx
