BIRTHDAY CARD: Pretty Pink Posh - Mom & The Stamp Market - Tons of Type

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday DEAR MOM, happy birthday to you!!! Today my beautiful mom is turning 55, don't know if I can say this out loud... but if I am half as pretty at 55, I would be screaming it of the roofs!!! So that's why I don't keep her secret (hihi). Hope you like the card xxx

I started with a piece of water colour paper, I took Aged Mahogany and Victorian Velvet distress inks and painted stripes on the paper. Afterwards, I cut out an A2 size panel of this watercolored piece using the Basic Rectangles from Mama Elephant.

I white heat embossed the MOM from the Mom stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh. I took the matching dies and cut it out (and 2 times more out of Neenah). I added the M O M on top of each other and ended up reassembling the panel on a card base.

I stamped out a sentiment from Tons of Type from The Stamp Market underneath MOM using black ink. To finish the card, I added some crystal clear hearts from Little Things from Lucy's Cards. And that's it, simple but elegant.
