Hello everyone, for this new Sketch challenge by MFT... I made this card! It turned out to be a love card with a lovely night sky in the background. I hope you like it.
You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
I started by stamping out my images from the Frost Loving Friends by MFT onto Strathmore Bristol with Gina K. Designs Amalgam ink.
Next, I took my Distress Inks to color them in. Afterwards, I cut them out using the matching dies.
I cut out an A2 size panel of Neenah to creatie my background on. I masked off a triangle using purple tape. Next, I also cut out a circle (= the moon). I inkblended the sky using Antique Linen, Evergreen Bough, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. Before removing the purple tape, I splattered some white gouache all over the background and images.
For the sentiment I used the same Gina K. Designs Amalgam Ink. When that was added, I adhered all the elements using liquid glue and thin foam squares.
