Hey everyone! I would like to share these 3 cards with you today! Therefor, I used the same basic elements by The Stamp Market. But depending on the technique you use, you can create such different cards!
You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
You will see in the following cards that all the basics return, but the cards are sooo different if you ask me. I loved creating them!
For the first card, I did some embossed resist ink blending. I first heat embossed the Merry background stamp. Next, I ink blended the whole background using some Distress inks. I added the Modern Merry (using the negative for the spacing) and I added some Jewels to finish this card!
Card#1:
- The Stamp Market - Merry
- Doodlebug Design: Shape Sprinkles - Holly & Pine
- The Stamp Market - Modern Merry
- The Stamp Market - Modern Merry Dies
- Neenah 110 lb Solar White Card Stock
- Versamark Clear Embossing Ink
- Versafine Onyx Black Ink
- Distress Ink: Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn
- Ranger Embossing Powder: Clear (Super Fine Detail)
- Little Things from Lucy's Cards: Jewels - Chunky Rainbow Sparkle
- NUVO Deluxe Adhesive
- Permanent Pritt Adhesive Roller
For the second card, I did some tone on tone stamping. I first created 5 strips using Distress Inks to get the exact colors I wanted. I added these strips to a card base. Next, I stamped out the Merry background stamp using Versamark Clear Embossing Ink. This way you get the idea of tone on tone stamping. I added the Modern Merry (using the negative for the spacing). To finish the card, I added some Holly & Pine shape sprinkles by doodlebug design.

For my third card, I did some noline coloring. I first stamped out this Merry background stamp onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth using Antique Linen. Next, I colored all the letters with Distress Inks. I heat embossed the Modern Merry using Classic Gold embossing powder and die cut it using the matching dies. After adding this, I also added some Gold stars to finish this one.
