Hey everyone! For the third category of the annual Card Design Superstar Contest I let myself be guided by the amazing Jennifer McGuire! I don't see myself as being a innovational card maker... I like to keep it simple if I can express it like that... This technique (introduced by Jennifer McGuire) allowed me to still keep it simple. But now instead of one design... I have two designs in one card and I am stoked about it!!!!
For the technique that I used, everything gets explained wonderfully by Jennifer McGuire in this video.
You can watch my video below or click HERE to watch at my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
I started by stamping out my images onto Neenah with Gina K. Designs Amalgam Ink. Next, I used my Copic Markers to color everything in. Afterwards, I took the matching dies and cut everything out.
I placed my images in the frond of the card base and decided to cut out the boy from the front using the dies once more. This way, I could adhere the little boy on the inside of the card, while he is also a part of the front!
I ink blended some grounding with Antique Linen Distress Ink using some purple tape to help me. I stamped a greeting on the outside and inside of the card and I adhered all the images in place.
To finish this card, I added some Stickles! I hope you like it. I really enjoyed making this card, and I hope to create some more using this wonderful technique! Lots of love xxx
