Hello everyone, welcome back! Julia (from Craftroomadventures) and I decided on making a card, where we had to use the Party On The Farm stamp set from Hello Bluebird. I decided for myself to go out of my comfort zone with this card, by using only Copic Markers (for the coloring and the background). I hope you like it!
You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
I cut a panel out of Perfect Colouring Paper. Next, I stamped out my scene, therefor I also had to make some masks. After I stamped it, I first tried to decide how I was going to do the shadowing (for the sketch, check the end of my blogpost). Next, I started coloring (extra photos for each image down below).
After coloring the images, I decided to try coloring a background using copics as well.
For the sky, I used: BG75, BG72, BG70
For the grass, I used: YG67, YG17, G43
I heat embossed the sentiment onto Black Licorice Card Stock, using Nuvo Embossing Powder. After die cutting the sentiment, I could start with the assembly of my card.
I took a pattern paper from MFT to add behind the die cut panel. After adhering this flat onto my card base, I added the panel using Scotch 3M Foam Tape.
Extra: As I said above... before I started coloring, I first did some shadow techniques. So I based myself on this "sketch" when adding darker areas on my stamped out image.
