BLOOMING by Karin Joan - BASICSDCKJ01

I am loving this new BLOOMING collection! It is taking me out of my comfort zone, but I LOVE it!!!

I started with an A2 (American) panel of Neenah 110 lb Solar White Card Stock. I blended Weathered Wood Distress Ink on the bottom half of this panel (really light). Next, I took the Brick By Brick Stencil from Taylored Expressions and Texture Paste Opaque Matte by Ranger. I added the paste really roughly on the bottom half. After pealing it of, I set this panel aside to dry. 

I took a piece of Strathmore Bristol 110lb and I stamped the flowers from BASICSDCKJ01 on top of it using Gina K. Designs Amalgam Ink. Next, I colored them in, using my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers (listed below). I die cut them using the matching dies in the set. 

Since my background was dry, I decided to add Cracked Pistachio on top of the brick "wall". Then, I took a piece of Acetate. "Bloom" was stamped out using Versamark Clear Embossing Ink, and I added Lawn Fawn Embossing Powder Silver on top of it. After heat setting this, I added "with grace" with Gina K. Designs Amalgam Ink. I used my scissors to cut this sentiment out. 

Now, I could start with assembling. After laying everything out, I first added the flowers using Gina K. Designs Connect Glue. For the sentiment, I decided to use my Xyron Sticker maker so that the adhesive would not show. After assembling my panel, I added the panel onto an (American) card base using my Permanent Pritt Adhesive Roller.
