Hello everyone! Today I finally have my blog post ready for this card! The adorable (digital) image featured in this card is from My Enchanted Colors. It's part of the La Navidad de Valentina digital stamp.
I started by printing this adorable image from the La Navidad de Valentina digital stamp on top of transotype perfect colouring paper. Next, I fussy cut the image out and colored it in using my copic markers (combinations listed below).
- Skin: E13, E11, E01
- Hair: E55, E53, E51
- Blue: B99, B95, B93
- Red: R46, R24, R14
- Dark brown: E79, E59
For the background, I took a piece of Midnight card stock by concord & 9th. I die cut the bug polaroid from the Polaroid Fun die set by Mama Elephant. I also cut XMAS out of this card stock using the Oliver Alpha Die. I decided to create a shaker card, so I die cut the polaroid a few times more out of transotype as well. And I also created a fun white panel with the Nesting Deckle A2 from Hello Bluebird.
For the background in the shaker part, I softly ink blended unicorn pigment ink from Hero Hues on top of the inside piece of the polaroid and I added some splatters (to represent snow) as well. I used some chunky glitter from Lawn Fawn for my shaker. Since I had all of the elements ready to go, I assembled everything on top of a card base. Whit a white gelly roll pen, I added some more details on the image and on the sentiment. I hope you like it! xxx
