Hello everyone, today I have a CAS Christmas card to share with you featuring some Hello Bluebird products! It is embarassing how long this stamp set has been laying here, waiting to be used... but finally I changed that! I hope you like it xxx
You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
For this card, I started by coloring both images from the Christmas Eve stamp set from Hello Bluebird (combination listed below). Next, I used the matching dies to die cut them out.
- Deer: E53, E51, E50 / E34, E30 / E11, E01
- Skin: E13, E11, E01, E00
- Red: R59, R46, R24, R14
- Brown: E47, E57, E33
- Yellow: YR04, Y17, Y02
For the background, I die cut an A2 sized rectangle out of dark blue card stock. I ink blended some black soot distress ink on top. Next, I took some white pigment ink and embossing powder to add the sentiment and some snowflakes. Afterwards, I added white splatters all over this background and images. For the bottom of the card, I die cut a hill using the Stitched Hillside Borders from Lawn Fawn.
With all the elements ready, I assembled the card on top of a card base. I also added some glossy accents to the lantern and some white gelly roll pen details to the eyes. I hope this card can inspire you!
