CHRISTMAS CARD: Hello Bluebird - Away in a Manger

Hello everyone, I finally got some time to play with this precious stamp set called Away in a Manger from Hello Bluebird. I kept colors and scene traditional, I hope this card can inspire you xxx

For this card, I started by coloring all the images I needed from the Away in a Manger stamp set from hello Bluebird (combination listed below). Next, I added  white gelly roll pen details. I used the matching dies to die cut them out. 

  • Donkey: W7, W5, W4 / W9, W7, W5 / E13, E00
  • Yellow: YR04, Y17, Y13
  • Halo: Y02, Y00
  • White: B60
  • Blue: B93, B91, B60
  • Brown(s): E37, E35, E33, E53 / E47, E37 
  • Blond haire: E55, E53, E51
  • Skin: E13, E11, E00

For the background, I die cut an A2 sized rectangle, next I used distress inks to created a blue gradient (night sky). I splattered white gouache all over (to represent snow). On the bottom of the panel, I stamped the sentiment. 


With all the elements ready, I assembled the card on top of a card base. I also added some glitter to the wings of the angels, I hope you like this card!
