CHIRSTMAS CARD: Hello Bluebird - Cup of Cheer & Snow Globe Builder Die

Hello, welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a Christmas card featuring the Cup of Cheer stamp set and the Snow Globe Builer Die from Hello Bluebird. I got this stamp set last year if I am not mistaken (shame on me for only just using it), and I really wanted to finally craft with it! I also used some self made pattern paper that was left over from this card. I hope you like it!

You can watch the video by clicking HERE to watch at the my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.

I started by stamping the images from the Cup of Cheer stamp set from Hello Bluebird with dark chocolate ink. Next, I used my copic markers to color them in (combination listed below). I also embellished the critters using a white gelly roll pen.

  • Bear: E47, E57, E23 / E13, E11
  • Bunny: E41, E53, E51 / E13, E11
  • Pink: RV25, RV13, RV21, RV10
  • Green: YG09, YG03, YG00

For the background, I die cut all the elements I needed using the Snow Globe Builder Die (also a part out of my self made patterned paper). Afterwards, I ink blended a soft sky. Once the snowglobe was assembled, I splattered white gouache all over it to represent snow faling.

Finally, I created an A2 sized panel. I added a soft pattern to it using the Starry Sky Stencil from Lawn Fawn. I also added a sentiment to this panel before adhering everything together on top of a card base. I hope you like it xxx
