Hey everyone! This week Crafty Meraki launched part 2 the new release called #merakiversary! This beautiful release is filled with amazing new products to celebrate 2 years anniversary of Crafty Meraki. This blog accompanies a wonderful videohop that is going on (go to my Youtube Channel and follow the instruction to participate in a wonderful give away!), celebrating the #Merakiversary! For this card, I am using the wonderful Work Of Heart stamp set from Crafty Meraki. I hope you like this CAS idea xxx
You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at my Youtube channel. A supply list can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
I started by creating the background panel. Therefor, I die cut an A2 sized panel and I used black soot distress ink (and white pigment ink) to recreate a chalk board on the top of the panel.
Next, I stamped out the image from Work Of Heart from Crafty Meraki and colored it in using my copic markers (combinations listed below). Since I do not have the matching dies, I fussy cut the image out.
- Skin: E13, E11, E01, E00
- Hair: E59, E57, E33
- Yellow: Y38, Y19, Y13
- Purple: V99, RV69, RV66, RV34
- Mouth: R29
For the sentiment and some extra images, I used some more stamps from this new stamp set (Work Of Heart). I white heat embossed all the elements on top of the "chalk board" and underneath I added a secondary sentiment using black ink. With all the elements ready, I assembled everything on top of a card base. I finished it off using some glossy accents and white heart sprinkles.
